I'm a designer and craftsman with a particular passion for working with glass. Over the past 20 years, my love for this medium has seen me develop totally new ways of working with glass to be able to fully capture it's beauty and enhance traditional techniques.

I have worked on everything from stained glass windows and mirrors to skylights, table tops and lighting objects. I've been commissioned to create one-off pieces of glass design for private homes, restaurants, hotels, public spaces and even yachts. I created a glass mosaic for the Alexander McQueen store in London and a beautiful stained glass ceiling for the Minerva Hotel in Rome. I've also restored many stained glass windows in cathedrals in Italy.

I have many others hobbies. Interior design and furniture restoration are some of my interests, and I use techniques such as papier machè, tromp l'oeil and gilding in my everyday work. I enjoy cooking, and recently won an Italian cooking show 'Cuochi e Fiamme' (translates as 'Chefs and Flames') with a winning pasta dish which fused Tagliatelle with Asian flair. I play the Cello, and my favorite musician is American Cellist is Yo Yo Ma.

A wide range of glass of various colours and grains can create contrasts, transparency and opacity with considerable decorative effects. Leonard designs & manufactures glass for doors, windows, skylights and illuminated glass panels.

By exploiting all the techniques, with emphasis on research, Leonard manufactures unique lighting in chandeliers, appliques & table lamps. Irregular surfaced fragments of glass used together create unique lighting.
