Drummer Lloyd Ryan has had an exciting career spanning nearly four decades as a performer and educator. He is regarded as a prolific educator with many of his students having gone on to achieve international success. These include Phil Collins, Derrick McKenzie (Jamiroquai), Nick Simms (Cornershop), Coghlan (Status Quo), and Ralph Salmins (Robbie Williams).

Ian Croft of IDrum Magazine has recently thanked Lloyd for his contribution to the British drumming community, "you've influenced us, or you've taught people who have influenced us. Your drumming DNA is floating around all over the UK drum community."
