I graduated from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in 1980, training under renowned voice coach Patsy Rodenburg. I have completed workshops with the RSC and trained with singing tutors Penny Harvey Piper and Elena Ferrari, so I have been lucky to work with some of the best in the industry.

I spent over 10 years as a professional actor and singer, and I have now returned to performing after spending many years in the exhibition and publishing industries.

I started vocal coaching over 15 years ago and pupils have included a wide variety of people from performers, presenters, students, corporate clients and the Met Police.

Most of us take care about how we look. But how do we sound? My passion is helping people to find their authentic voice, and to change their vocal delivery from 'monotonous to momentous' (I should copyright that phrase).

I am also a qualified nurse, so I know where the lungs and vocal chords are, as well as how they should work!
