Walk away with your own bowl made from American Walnut wood.
My name is Paul and I am a woodturner.
I have been a woodturner for over 15 years, which started as a hobby and has progressed beyond that. I have been an instructor for most of my working life and it seemed natural to continue this and so I started teaching woodturning at adult education and have been doing that for over 10 years, as well as teaching one-to-one in my own workshop.
I also enjoy doing demonstrations at clubs around the country and have had some success with this and get a great deal of pleasure passing on my knowledge to others. I am a member of two woodturning clubs. The Surrey Association of Woodturners is the club that I am very involved with, having been part of the committee and held different roles over the years. I am also a member of the AWGB (Association of Woodturners of Great Britain).
From salad bowls, to table lamps, to platters, to pedestal bowls, there is so much that can be made with a good block of wood and a lathe, and it would be a delight for me to share my years of experience with an audience.
