I'm an expert Hackney historian and I have been leading local history walks in Hackney and London Fields for over 10 years.

From Tudor playground to inner city suburbia, via 300 years of immigration from all over the world, Hackney is now considered one of the coolest areas to live in London.

As a local resident, I love sharing the area's rich history and helping people discover more about the interesting residents who have lived and worked here.

I have a passion for all things historical, which culminated in a career change from IT to history teaching. So far I have led several historical walks for The Amazings and I've extended the tour area to include nearby Stoke Newington.
